Do you have a fear of visiting the dentist? As a child, I LOVED visiting the elderly dentist who was also my Mom’s friend. I too, feared the sound of the drill in the dentist’s office and the clinical smell that permeates the air. But my love for candies overwhelmed my desire to split and run out of the dentist.
You see, old Dr. Brown did not just have a mere jar of candy on his desk. He has a WHOLE cabinet full of the good stuff!! He would do his treatment and while he was cleaning my teeth or doing whatever he has to when I was on the dentist chair, all I could see was the partially open cabinet door and behind it, a cornucopia of sweets and candies!
After he was done with me, he’d begin his spiel about why we should take care of our chompers and then, THEN! he’d get up very slowly and with a knowing smile, open his cabinet and let us choose only ONE candy from his collection. Sometimes I got a Clark Bar because I love the peanut butter filling, and sometimes I chose the Starburst Jelly Beans which the old dentist admitted that it was his favorite too! I dunno where he bought all these candies, perhaps from a Wholesale Candy supplier, but it sure made him a popular dentist with the kids!

My biggest pet peeve ever concerns the slow speed of my broadband connection. I am constantly looking for ways to speed up internet connection so that I can enjoy surfing the Internet more efficiently.
I was appalled with my Internet connection speed when I ran a quick test at TestInternetSpeed.org. The site is really easy to use. Just press the start button and the stimulation software will detect your upload and download speed effortlessly. Within a few seconds you’ll get the results easy as can be!
But that’s not the best thing about the site. I love the tips they wrote on how to improve my Internet speed. Whenever I get frustrated I just check the site and try to follow their pointers on how to speed up my Internet connection. They also have ample tips on how to improve my PC’s performance. Try the site, you’ll love it!

Why? Because it matters to us as consumers. When businesses improve, we will enjoy better products and services, simple as that. So said Generational Equity, a leading survey company that advises small businesses not to ignore the power of customer satisfaction surveys.

Is your family tired of going to the same holiday destinations over and over again each year? Running out of vacation ideas but at the same time, want to go on a value for money vacation to make your loved ones happy? I’ve been in the same predicament a while ago but decided to book a holiday in a different neighboring country this time - Canada.
There are plenty of canada vacation ideas that you can discover as you do your research offline and online. For instance, outdoorsy families will love exploring Canada’s premier national parks. To name a few, you can choose to visit the Banff National Park, the Jasper National Park, the Canmore National Park, the Lake Louise in Alberta, the Waterton Lakes, as well as the vast and scenic plains surrounding the Purcell Mountains.
Families can also opt to take the canadian rockies train ride. During this beautific ride, you should definitely get your cameras and video cams ready to capture the majestic mountains, that only can be seen in the Canadian Rockies.
When looking for cheap Canadian Rockies holiday packages, you should check out the last minute deals section in reputable sites to get the best bargains. That way you can save money AND take your family on a holiday of their lifetimes!

My dad is anything but conventional. He doesn’t really care for Father’s Day but I think I’m going to surprise him this year with something well, unconventional. So here is the list of possible presents for my Dad. Feel free to comment and tell me if your dad’s conventional or not
1. Joke book
My dad loves humor. Perhaps a naughty joke book will have him laugh his head off, and maybe make his day
2. Collection of board games
Monopoly is a must-have when your Dad’s as crazy about board games the way my Dad is. Boggle would make a good game, as will Scrabble.
3. New iPhone
How many Dads are truly geeky dads? My Dad’s slowly becoming a techie and is now harboring secret wishes to own every Apple product there is. Sigh.
Well for the rest of you out there, your Dad may well be a conventional guy but that does not mean you can’t give conventional gifts. I’d suggest getting your father a nice timepiece, perhaps from the collection of bulova watches available for purchase at Bluedial.com. Comes with free 2nd day shipping, well worth your money!

Summer time is here yet again and for many it’s time to stock up on the latest bikinis, ample sun tan lotion and prescription sunglasses. A great place to find the latter is at OpticsPlanet.net, where plenty of brand name sunglasses can be found at highly affordable prices. See, it’s important to look good when you’re at the beach during summer but it won’t do you any good if you’re broke
My personal favorite is this pair of wraparound Wiley X sunnies. It’s only a mere $105 and comes with free shipping. If that’s not a good deal, then I dunno what is!

Come this Friday, it will be the first time I will be apart from my mom. We’ve never really be far from each other but because I will be taking a short language course in Japan, I will be in the Land of the Rising Sun for approximately 3 months. Mom threatened me by saying that if I don’t call her at least once a day, she will take the next flight out and stay with me even if we have to bunk it out at the capsule hotel! So to stay in touch I am going to get lots of phone cards from GetMeCallingCards.com just so my mom’s worries will be alleviated

“This post sponsored by PayPerPost”
Wow! It looks like the brand new PayPerPost v4.0 has come to town! Lest you think Payperpost, or more lovingly referred to as PPP, has left town, its brand new improved version is now making its way to the Internet and into everyone’s hearts! Payperpost v4.0 is now a “sponsored conversation” entity and I find this brand new image a pleasure to work with.
For starters they’ve gone all out to redesign the layout and user interface. No longer will you see the two cheesy faces — one man and the other a woman — on the home page of PayPerPost.
Good riddance anyway, I never did like those images. But now, things look swankier and definitely more brandable. Instead of the overall blue color scheme, the interface is now mostly green. Icons have changed too, more web 2.0 I reckon. Their logo underwent a slight makeover but it is still recognizable akin to the older PayPerPost’s image.
There have been many comments about this new change in PayPerpost and everyone’s just so excited about how it’s going to roll out permanently. Right now it’s in alpha stage but we expect better things to come out of thsi
See you @ PPP V4.0!

I’ve been rather active in paintball games lately, so I thought I would spread some paintball fun and cheer by inviting some old friends to meet the whole paintball gang and join the game. Those who were interested were rather intrigued about the game, especially in regards to strategy as well as its equipment. They were also concerned that buying paintball gear would be rather astronomical in price but I reassured them saying that cheap paintball guns can be bought if you know where to look. And one of my favorite stores currently is Ultimate Paintball located at Pntball.com. You get quality service as well as free shipping. Great deal, I’d say!

A while back my niece asked if I could borrow her some cash so that she could purchase a new netbook that’s being sold on discount. I was rather strapped for cash that time myself and I declined her request, which made me feel bad becase she was one of my favorite nieces. So today when I saw a site called EZCouponSearch.com I was reminded of her request, and I hit upon a brilliant idea.
You see, EZCouponSearch.com is a site that lets consumers like you and I search for online coupon codes easily — easy coupon search — get it?
Coupon codes are nifty little things that gives online shoppers discounts and other perks like free shipping and promotional items when we enter the designated codes in the checkout page. However, EZCouponSearch.com is a coupon site with a difference. It comes with a profile page that consumers can personalize and save their favorite coupons. With these coupons they can either use it themselves or share them amongst family and friends. So what I did was share my Dell coupon codes with my niece and I enclosed a note in the email telling her to look out for some incoming Paypal funds coming her way
She was thrilled to finally get enough to purchase the laptop she wanted. In turn she used the site’s coupon search feature and got her mom an Orvis Promo Code to purchase apparel and household items.
See, sharing is indeed caring!
